We meet at
Grantham Senior Citizens’ Club,
Third Monday of every month
7.30pm – 9.30pm
These meetings are taking place now in person and we welcome new members.
In the past we met on Saturday mornings 10:30am – 11:30am at the coffee bar of
St Peters Hill
Currently these meetings have been suspended since March 2020
They may restart in the future if we generate enough interest
So please contact us if you would prefer a Saturday morning meeting.
For further details contact: Lisa Geary (Chairman and Treasurer)
How to join
Membership is very easy: just come along to the Senior Citizens Centre, Welham Street, on the third Monday of the month at 7.30pm and take a seat.
If you have written something please bring it with you if you would like to read it. (This is not compulsory!)
Bring a notebook and a pen as we sometimes have writing exercises together during the evening.
The members work in all styles, genres and so whether you write poetry, stories, novels, scripts, prose or journalistic pieces all are welcomed.
On our Members Work and Members Publications pages you will usually see samples of work by some of our members.
There is a yearly subscription fee of £15 usually payable in January each year
If you wish to pay on a pay-by-attendance basis, we can discuss this with you at your third meeting
THE BEST BIT:
Your first two meetings are FREE!
